The Board of Directors of an Okanagan golf course approached Al for assistance to complete a Health and Safety Program Review for their groundskeeping staff and activities.
They were particularly concerned about safe storage of chemicals, development of proper ventilation systems, staff competency with respect to safe work practices and safe job procedures, and generating appropriate documentation.
Al completed the review and provided practical recommendations for all of the above, along with a table of contents for a suggested health and safety program. Subsequently, Al assisted the team to develop their emergency action plan, an equipment maintenance list, and recommended placements for their CCTV system.
You would think that Al’s passion for golf would have been helpful during this project, however you can’t find anything when you are always in the rough!
